  Key Message for Parents:

Teaching a teen that a wound can not begin the healing process until the treatment is applied then left alone. Apply that to everyday life.

Here is a list of items that North-Side can use to aid us in getting these young men cleaned up, physically and mentally; these Items are important for Interviews as well as making them feel good about themselves. All Items donated will go to a good cause and know that you will be a part of the change that our communities need.  Remember to keep all receipts of any purchases. 1. Dress Socks; brown & black

1. Tooth brushes & tooth paste

1. Belts all men’s sizes

1. 2010 planners

1. Dress shirts (don’t forget the big man)

1. Dress Shoes (can be used but in good shape)

1. Gift Cards if you can’t shop or have nothing in your closets to donate.

1. Razors, shave cream and after shave

1. Anything else you find fitting

At North-Side Foundation, our primary focus on pre/teens comes first. 

To free themselves from worldly cares, we counsel our people to "drop their burdens at the gate" and tend to the needs of the teens. We strive to remind ourselves that the North-Side Foundation Way is not to change the behavior of the teens or the Parents, but to provide opportunities for the heart to be touched, so the change can come willingly from the "one who stands within." Then the Change of Heart, like clear water, will flow without compulsion.
